People’s Alliance Federal Credit Union (PAFCU) membership is offered to companies as a no-cost employee benefit. You may be eligible to join in one of the following ways:
- Employees of more than 400 PAFCU partner companies—and their family members—can apply for membership. Call (631) 434-3500 or visit any branch to check if your employer is a partner company, or ask your immediate supervisor or Human Resources Manager.
- Family members (kinship accounts) of current members are eligible—including immediate relatives and those by marriage or adoption—so when you join, your family can join too.
- Anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in select geographical areas in NY and FL.
- Not in PAFCU’s field of membership? Ask your HR/benefits decision-maker to contact our Hauppauge Administrative Office to learn how your company can join; HR/benefits managers, presidents/CEOs, or owners ready to proceed can complete the Select Employer Group application or call (631) 434-3500.
- Easy eligibility path: Join the American Consumer Council (ACC). Membership is free, and PAFCU can process it for you. The ACC is a non-profit consumer education, advocacy, and financial literacy organization.
If you live, work, worship, or attend school within the boundaries listed above, you can save and borrow at People’s Alliance Federal Credit Union (PAFCU). To request a membership application, please contact us.
Important Information About Procedures For Opening A New Account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money-laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that allows us to identify you. We will also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
